Hands on cooking class that celebrates Italy’s King of Cheese: Parmigiano Reggiano
The origins of Parmigiano Reggiano cheese date back to the Middle Ages and are usually placed around the XII century. Parmigiano Reggiano is made today with the same ingredients as nine centuries ago, in the same places, with the same wise ritual gestures.The master cheese makers, today as in the past, continue to produce this cheese with precious milk from the area of origin, natural rennet, salt and no additive, in a traditional way and with the same passion and loyalty.
The beautiful Biltmore was one of the most fashionable resorts in the entire country in its heyday, the roaring 1920s and 30s hosting royalty of both European and Hollywood variety, and today remains a top international destination. Chef David Hackett is the accomplished Executive Chef leading their prestigious culinary academy.
We had the opportunity to learn so many recipes in a day!
From making rice to fry some tortellinis was one of the most fun and tasty experiences I ever had.
If you guys are thinking about cooking and hands on kitchen this academy is the place!
